Theresa Evans

Mrs. Theresa Greenway Evans, age 78, of Elberton GA, passed away on March 14, 2026 at Hartwell Health and Rehabilitation.

Born on April 8, 1947 in Elberton, Georgia to the late Quinton Greenway and Launa Craft Greenway. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Carroll Greenway and one grandchild Blake Evans. Theresa was retired from Everlasting Granite and was a member of Cokesbury UMC.

Theresa is survived by her loving husband of 60 years James "Coconut" Evans, son Mike Evans and grandson, Cody Evans all of Elberton.

Funeral service for Theresa will be held Tuesday March 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory with the Rev. Richard Jarvis officiating. She will be laid to rest privately at New Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family is at their respective homes.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory, 333 E. Johnson Street Hartwell, Ga. 30643.
