Theresa Catherine Meagher

Theresa Catherine Meagher, age 76, of French Village, passed away on March 11, 2026. Born on April 5, 1949, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late James and Delores (Stepities) Forester.

A proud member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Park Hills, the American Kennel Club, and the Christian Motorcycle Association, Theresa lived with passion and purpose. As a professional dog handler, she worked with Rottweilers and achieved National Championships, reflecting her skill and deep commitment to canine training. She also found joy in horseback riding, motorcycle adventures, and tending her vegetable and flower gardens until her health declined. Magnolias held a special place in her heart.

Theresa is survived by her husband Pat Meagher, with whom she shared 59 loving years; her children, Ann Lissette and husband Jim Berghold, Monica Evette Bryan, Elaine Minette Westhoff and husband Chris, and Lynn Amorette Fuhrmann and husband Michael; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; her sisters, Sheila Crumpton and Donna Winkler; her brother, Jimmy Forester; her sister-in-law, Angela Ann Hall; her beloved dog Toby; and many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
