Theresa A. Kerstetter

Theresa A. Kerstetter, born November 4, 1954, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, after a 15-month battle with ovarian cancer. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the deep love she shared with her family and friends.

Theresa was the beloved wife of Keith Kerstetter, with whom she shared 50 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a life centered on family, loyalty, and lasting memories. She was the devoted mother of Jacob (Jess) Kerstetter, Amber (Gary) Kerstetter-Fogle, and Jerod Kerstetter, and a proud and loving Mimi to Hailey, Wiatt, and Kai Kerstetter, and Gage and Amelia Fogle, who brought her immense joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Betty Ebner, her sister, Mary Speicher, and her son, Jerod Kerstetter.

Theresa retired from Stark County Job and Family Services after many years of dedicated service, where she formed many meaningful friendships and was especially proud to be part of the close-knit “A Team” that became lifelong friends. She loved spending time outdoors, going to the beach, fishing, hunting, traveling, visiting friends, and sharing meals with those she cherished. Cooking was one of her greatest passions, and her delicious dishes were always the topic of eager discussion before any family gathering. Her laughter, generosity, and caring spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Theresa’s greatest pride was her family, and the love she gave will continue to live on through them. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
