Theresa A. Huber

Theresa A. Huber, 81, of Fargo, ND, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Essentia Health, Fargo, ND. Theresa was born September 14, 1944, in Edgeley, ND, to Alfred and Ann Marie (Schweitzer) Baumgartner. She grew up and attended school in LaMoure, ND. Following high school, Theresa began working in Fargo. She married Eugene Huber in 1965, and they made their home in Wisconsin, Devils Lake and Lisbon, ND, and raised their family. She later moved and settled in Fargo, ND, in 1990. Over the years, Theresa enjoyed working for the United Way and MN Relay until retirement. She also enjoyed baking as well as crafting and sewing, where she passed many of her creations on to family and friends she cared greatly for. She will be dearly missed.

Theresa is survived by her children, Janine (David) Ogren of Grand Forks, Sheri (Scott) Balko of Fargo, ND, Bill Huber of West Fargo, Dean Huber of Hankinson, Don Huber of Fargo; grandchildren; Ryan (Erin) Huber, Brianne (Carl Meyer) Huber, Ty Ogren, Liam Ogren, Cole Ogren, Arelle Krueger, Darock Krueger, Rathyn Krueger, and Joel (Bailey) Balko; great-grandchildren, Dell, Vin and Chip Huber, Hayden and Chase Balko; brothers, Daniel of Las Vegas, NV, Bob of Moorhead, MN, Allen (Suzette Solheim) of Jackson, MN, Mike (Tammy) of Dilworth, MN, Mark of Erhard, MN, Frank of Hawley, MN; sisters, Janette Baumgartner of Fargo, ND, Linda (Bob) Gundersen of Excelsior, MN, Diane (Scott) Engen of Frazee, MN, Pam (Wes) Fletcher of Brooklyn Park, MN, Sheri Hanson of Moorhead, MN, Mary Ann (Brian) Langager of Farwell, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Huber Krueger; parents, Alfred and Ann Marie Baumgartner; brother, Phillip Baumgartner; and brother-in-law, John Hanson.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 19, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, followed by a prayer service at 7:00 PM, in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, March 20, at 10:00 AM, in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Fargo, ND.

Interment will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
