He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Scotka Sushka and Theodore Sushka; his brother Bob Sushka; and his wife Barbara Sushka. He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Ware (Patrick) and Bobbi Sushka; his sister Shirley Sushka; his sister-in-law Libby Sushka; and his sons, Lou Sushka (Paula) and Steven Sushka (Anne). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Putnam Congregational Church (707 Masonic Park Rd, Marietta, OH 45750). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the Salvation Army.
