THEODORE "TED" JOSEPH THYDEAN It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thoedore "Ted" Joseph Thydean, 77, of International Falls, MN, who passed on Thursday, March 5, 2026. Ted was born to Ernest and Lillian Thydean on May 20, 1948, in International Falls. He was a kind and gentle soul who loved and lived for his family. He was joined in marriage to Sheila Nazarenus on January 4, 1968. They had four children together. Ted loved to spend time with his family. His children recall times spent fishing, listening to his favorite oldies records, and working on cars with his sons. Ted had a life-long love of cars. He loved going for walks and playing with his grandchildren. Attending his granddaughter's dance classes was a favorite pastime. He was proud of his apple trees and loved eating homemade pie. He loved a good cup of coffee and was known for his gift of gab. He was preceded in death by his parents and seven of his siblings. Ted is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sheila; children, Shane, Anthony (Katy), Travis, and Holley (Nodin); grandchildren, Larissa, Autumn, Ryan, Justin, Jason, Tristan, Cade, and Gwyn; great-grandchildren, Danika, Kayan, Aleeah, Lakelyn, and Bexley; and siblings, Gladys, Kathy, Allen, and Toni.
