THELMA LAVERNE DAVIS

THELMA LAVERNE DAVIS, born on August 14, 1932, in Terrell, Texas, peacefully passed away on March 5, 2026, in Tarrant County, Texas. She was a beacon of knowledge and inspiration, dedicating her life to the field of education.

THELMA earned her master’s degree in education, a testament to her commitment to lifelong learning and teaching. Throughout her career, she touched the lives of countless students, imparting wisdom and instilling a love for learning that would carry them through their lives. Her passion for education was matched only by her dedication to her students, who often regarded her not just as a teacher, but as a mentor and a guiding light.

Family, friends, and many in the community are invited to celebrate her life. Viewing will be held on March 13, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St Paul Baptist Church, located at 1600 Pear Street, Dallas, TX 75215. This will be followed by a Funeral Service at the same location starting at 11:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM.

THELMA LAVERNE DAVIS leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and boundless encouragement, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
