She was born on October 8th in Teoc, Mississippi, to Frank Bryant, Sr. and Lue Emma (Coleman) Bryant, the eldest of their children.On February 15, 1965, Thelma married Albert Miller in Greenwood, Mississippi. In 1969, they relocated to Lockport, Illinois, where they established their home and raised their family. Albert remained faithfully by Thelma's side through life's joys and challenges, caring for and supporting her with devotion through her final days.Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Bryant, Sr. and Lou Emma Bryant; two daughters, Linda Miller and Sandra Miller; one grandson, Cyle Matthew Bass; four sisters, Frankie Lee Henderson, Cellie Ann Carter, Rosie Lee Loggins and Lucy Ann Woods; one niece, Janice Henderson; and two nephews, Greg Bryant and Curlie Loggins.She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband of 61 years, Albert Miller; two daughters, Odessa (Gibraltar) White of Tulsa, Oklahoma and LaShanetta (Kelly) Harris of Media, Pennsylvania; three sons, Michael (Monnie) Miller of Las Vegas, Nevada, Keith (Sonya) Miller of Plainfield, Illinois, and Kendrick (Bethlehem) Miller of Chicago, Illinois; three sisters, Alberta (Ralph) Lowe of Moreno Valley, California, Mary Carey of Coto de Caza, California, and Rosetta (Desmond) Weathers of Long Beach, California; one brother, Frank Bryant, Jr. of Chino Hills, California; one sister-in-law, Dolly (Jimmy) Stanley of LeFlore, Mississippi; fourteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Thelma L.
