Thelma J. (Sharp) Keiser, 85, of Hansen, Nebraska, passed away on March 9, 2026 at her home. Born on July 16, 1940 in Mankato, Kansas to Veryl and June E. (Anderson) Sharp, she grew up in Hardy, Nebraska and Hastings, where she graduated from Hastings High School. In 1958 she married Robert Bowersox in Hastings, and the couple had three sons together. They moved to Naples, Florida in 1976 before later divorcing.
In 1980 Thelma found lasting companionship when she married Lowell Keiser on May 2 in Naples, Florida. The couple returned to Nebraska in 1992, settling in Hansen, where she remained for the rest of her life following Lowell’s death in 2009.
Thelma took quiet pleasure in sewing, crocheting, tending her flower garden, working crossword puzzles, and watching Wheel of Fortune. She was a longtime member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Hastings.
She is survived by her sons, Glen Bowersox and Alan Bowersox, both of Hansen; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her brother, Max Sharp, Sr.; and her sisters, Betty Adler of Iowa, Judy Graves of Kansas, and Nancy Parsons of Hastings. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lowell Keiser, her son Paul Bowersox, her sister Evelyn Sharp, and her brother Eugene Sharp.
