Terry Branum ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Czopek Funeral Directors on Mar. 7, 2026.Terry Thomas Branum, a man whose warmth and gift of gab could brighten any room, passed away on March 5, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and cherished memories.Born in Detroit on August 17, 1955, to Willie and Mary (Miracle) Branum, Terry lived a life rooted in simple, genuine pleasures. Terry loved sharing stories about working as a laborer for the Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was a man of the outdoors who loved nothing more than soaking up the sun, listening to his favorite music, fishing, and bowling. Whether he was talking sports or sharing a story, Terry's natural charisma and ability to strike up a conversation with anyone made him a beloved fixture in the lives of his friends and family. For 44 years, Terry shared his life and heart with his devoted partner, Kathy Jennings. Together, they raised a family he was immensely proud of, including children Kimberly (Tom) Jennings, Daniel (Angie) Jennings, Bradley (Debra) Jennings, and Liesel (Jim) Riggs. His greatest joy, however, was found in his role as a grandfather to Michael, Eric, Griffen, Joshua, and Nash.Terry was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Don Branum. His memory will be kept alive by Kathy; his children and grandchildren; and his siblings, Shelia Branum, Michael (Bonnie) Branum, Paul Branum, and Mark (Anita) Branum.Terry's kindness and infectious love for life will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know him.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
