Terry Ray Pike Sr.
November 25, 1957— March 8, 2026
LaGrange, GA
Terry Ray Pike Sr., affectionately known as “Tip,” was born in LaGrange, Georgia, on November 25, 1957, the son of the late Toby Pike and Mildred Cosper Pike. He passed away on March 8, 2026, at Piedmont Hospital in Newnan, Georgia, surrounded by his loved ones.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Connie Furgerson Pike, his son Terry Ray Pike Jr., his brother Danny Butler (Ruth), his sisters Patricia Presley (the late Steve Presley), Susan Holland (Dick), and Donna Pike, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members he held dear. In his later years, Tip opened his home and heart to care for his mother-in-law, Joyce.
A carpenter by trade, Tip worked for Torrance Construction for 47 years, helping to build schools, commercial buildings, and several homes, including his own. He took quiet pride in honest work and in creating things built to last. He enjoyed NASCAR races, traveling, the television show Mountain Men, scrapping, and, most of all, riding. A man of few words, Tip was deeply loved and respected by all who knew him, living a life marked by hard work, loyalty, and humility.
He leaves behind a legacy of craftsmanship, love, and quiet strength.
