Terry Phelps

DESOTO - Terry Phelps, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at his home in De Soto. Terry was born on April 29, 1954 in Madisonville, KY to Allen and Lottie Phelps. Terry married Esther Breeden on October 6, 1990 in Carbondale. Terry is survived by his loving wife, Esther Phelps; sisters, Kathy Jolly, Sue (Mike) Gribble and Sandy (Steve) Williams; brother, Tony Phelps; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Travis and Jerry Phelps; and sisters, Glenda Martin and Cherrietta Woolever. A Memorial Service for Terry will be announced at a later date.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Murphysboro Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Meredith Funeral Home in Carbondale assisted the family with arrangements.
