Terry Bahr ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Godager Pratt Funeral Home - Muscoda on Mar. 8, 2026.Terry Merlin Bahr, age 68, passed away peacefully at home on March 7, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.Terry was born on February 5, 1958, to Giles and Ruth Bahr. He grew up in the Riverdale area and graduated from Riverdale High School. Terry spent most of his life working as a talented body man in the auto repair industry, a trade he took great pride in and dedicated many years to mastering.Terry was known for his quick wit, his sense of humor, and the way he could make people laugh with a perfectly timed joke or one of his signature smart-aleck remarks. He loved being around people and never passed up the chance to sit down for a game of cards, share stories, or enjoy the company of friends. Terry was also a proud member of the Cur Dog Crew, where many great memories and laughs were shared over the years.In his free time, Terry enjoyed attending demolition derbies and mud bogging events, passions that fit perfectly with his love of cars and a little excitement. He also loved spending his summers relaxing by the pool, enjoying the sunshine and good company. More than anything, Terry loved his family. His grandchildren were the light of his life and brought him endless pride and joy. He cherished the time spent with them and loved watching them grow.Terry is survived by his daughter, Terra Bahr and her committed partner Logan Banker, and her three sons, Lane Leffler, Tryton Leffler, and George Delap.He is also survived by his stepdaughters, Katrina Shemak and her husband Jason Shemak and their children Landon Shemak and Lydia Shemak; and Mandy Palan and her children Shyann Palan and Kota Palan; siblings: Judy (Tim) Brown, Rick (Arydth) Bahr, Pam Bahr, Jim (Penny) Bahr, Randy Bahr, Sandra (Jeff) Pippin, and Perry (Kathy) Bahr.Terry was preceded in death by his significant other, Deena Kovars; his parents, Giles and Ruth Bahr; his sister, Penny Bahr; and his brother, Doug Bahr.Terry will be remembered for his humor, his love of people, and the joy he found in simple moments spent with family, friends, and a good game of cards 'Did someone say deal?'. The stories, laughter, and memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.A celebration of life will be held at Events at Castle Rock on Saturday, April 4, 2026 starting at 12:00 PM.
