It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Terry Fredricks (New Orleans, Louisiana), who passed away on March 5, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gloria Hebert Fredericks and Alfred Fredricks; and his siblings, Darlene Fredricks and Anthony "Sal" Fazzio. He is survived by: his wife Mary Fredricks; his children, Daynell Seruntine (Dean Seruntine), Joyce Juneau, Tina Ribas (MSgt), Amanda Cornwall and Daniel Cornwall; his siblings, Lois Terese and Ricardo Fredricks (Denise Fredricks); and his close friends, Saint Jones, Brandon Nodier and Ronald Comadore. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.

After Hurricane Katrina, he played an important role in helping rebuild New Orleans and was recognized with an award for his contributions to the city's recovery—something he took great pride in.
