Terry Pierce ObituaryPublished by Legacy on Mar. 2, 2026.Terry Don Pierce, age 82, of Maysville, MO passed away on March 1, 2026. He was born in Winston, MO on September 6, 1943 to parents Roscoe Pierce and Minnie Mae (Heldenbrand) Pierce. Terry was a long time resident of Maysville.Terry graduated from Winston High School in 1961 and then went into the United States Navy when he was 17. Terry served in the Navy for three years. After the Navy he worked at McDonnell Aircraft in St. Louis for three years as a mechanic and then on June 15, 1968 he started working for TWA at the overall base in Kansas City. He held various mechanic roles over the years, but primarily worked fuel tanks and eventually became an inspector. After 37 years he retired from TWA/American in June of 2005.On January 17, 1969 he married Judy Warren with whom they shared 55 years of marriage. Together they raised two children: Sherri (Chuck) Woods, and Greg Pierce.Terry was an avid golfer and was a member of Lakesite Country Club for 50 years. After he retired Terry took care of Lakesite for many years managing the golf cart rentals and various other roles. Terry also loved to play cards and could be found playing poker out at Lakesite on many occasions. Terry also enjoyed going to Las Vegas with Judy to play poker and going to shows.After the passing of Judy in 2024, Terry moved to St. Louis to be closer to Sherri and her family.Terry was preceded in death by Judy, his parents, brother Gary Pierce and son Greg Pierce. He is survived by his daughter Sherri, (Chuck) and grandchildren Bryce (Meghan), Ally Dimaggio (Jay) and Justin Woods.There will be a visitation from 10-11 on Friday, March 6 at Turner Family Funeral Home in Maysville, and a graveside service at 11:30 at Fairport Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Fairport Cemetery.Terry will be deeply missed by all who knew him.Place the Full Obituary in Any NewspaperThis is just an online death notice.
