He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Cohron; mother, Mary Vesta Roebuck Haynie; step-father, Ray Haynie; brother, Jerry Haynie; grandson, Thad Cohron; daughter-in-law, Leah Sessions Cohron. He is survived by his wife of sixty-eight years, Susie Hosch Cohron of Buford; sons, Tracy (Rachel) Cohron of Buford, Wes (Patricia) Cohron of Freeport, FL; daughter, Treva Cohron of Buford; grandchildren, Tara (Jason) Keltner, Bradley (Nicole) Cohron, Kelley (Jacob) Kennebeck, Caroline Cohron, Sheyanne (Scott) Navarro, Trey Cohron, Taylor Cohron, Katherine Cohron, Tristann Cohron; great-grandchildren, Mae Keltner, Nixon Navarro, Abby Cohron, Bodhi Navarro, Jac Cohron, Hunter Kennebeck; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lenon (Carol) Hosch of Buford; several cousins. Mr. Cohron was born on March 7, 1939 in Buford. He was a 1957 graduate from Buford High School. Mr. Cohron was a licensed real estate broker and agent and was the owner of Cohron Reality for over fifty years. He was an ordained minister through the Grace International Fellowship, served on the Buford Ministerial Board, and the Buford Board of Buford Cooperative and Thrift Store for many years. Mr. Cohron was pastor of Buford Church Fellowship and served on Gwinnett County Board of Planning and Appeals for fourteen years. He loved working and spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held at Flanigan Funeral Home on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. with Minister Wes Cohron officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens located in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Thursday, March 19 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
