Terry Ann Smith

Terry Ann Smith, 68, of Inverness, Florida, passed away on March 10, 2026, at home while under hospice care. Born on August 1, 1957, in Paterson, New Jersey, she grew up in Little Falls and later raised her family in Totowa before moving to Florida twelve years ago.

Together with her husband, Donald, Terry served as a foster parent to many children over the years, opening her heart and home to those in need. In her younger days she enjoyed playing on softball and volleyball teams, and she cherished family camping trips at Beaverhill Campground. In later life she found great joy in her church community and in playing bingo.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Carver; granddaughter, Brianna Briggs; her mother, Beverly Schoenberger; and her sister, Lynn Roerich. Terry was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Smith, and her sister, Susan Schoenberger.
