He will be remembered for his strong sense of duty, resilience, and the quiet pride he took in the life he built.

Terry proudly served his country for 28 years in the United States Army, with twenty-four of those years spent in the 157th Military Police Company. His military service remained a defining part of his life, and his family will always honor it with great pride.

He was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 34 years, Kimberly (Kimmie) Barney; his sister, Vicky; his parents, Dorsey and Greta Barney; and his in-laws, Douglas and Linda Fries. He will be remembered by family, friends, and fellow service members for his loyalty, sense of responsibility, and the quiet strength that defined him.
