Terrence Brent Rapley

Terrence Brent Rapley, 37, of Greenwood, South Carolina, passed away on March 6, 2026, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born on May 22, 1988, in Prince George County, Maryland, he was the son of Tony Rapley, Sr. and Shavon Wade.

Terrence grew up in Greenwood County and graduated from Emerald High School in 2006, where he excelled in sports. He worked at a plant in the Greenville area and with Rapley and Sons Trucking. A man who valued family and faith, he attended many churches with his loved ones throughout his life.

He is survived by his father, Tony (Jennifer) Rapley, Sr.; his mother, Shavon Wade; his sister, LaTorra Rapley; three step-sisters, Dasharel Day, Lauren Butler, and Adrian Butler; his brother, Tony Rapley, Jr.; two step-brothers, Ketorrius Brown and Camelle Hill; and his four children, Kemauri A’Zion Rapley, Brynleigh Kate Rapley, Jai Mariel Rapley, and Tymere Anious Rapley. He also leaves behind his uncle, Dan Rappley (Donna); two aunts, Bonnie (Barry) Jones and Vera (William) Moore; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Terrence was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Juanita Washington and Horace Rapley, Jr., and his brother, Gregory Wade. He will be remembered as a devoted son, brother, father, and friend whose presence brought energy and warmth to those who knew him.
