He peacefully departed thislife on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at his home.Terrance was educated in the public schools of Anderson County and advanced with theWestside Class of 1990. At an early age, he was baptized and developed a foundation of faith thatremained with him throughout his life. In recent years, he rededicated his life to the Lord andfaithfully walked in that renewed commitment. He was a devoted member of King David BaptistChurch. He also actively served and uplifted others through the Kingdom Welcome CenterOutreach Ministry.Terrance was a man known for his generous heart, compassionate spirit, and unwaveringwillingness to help others. He found great joy in serving his community, especially throughfeeding the homeless alongside David Smith and supporting those in need. His kindness, humility,and genuine love for people left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. Terrancebelieved deeply in giving, encouraging others, and being a light in the lives of those around him.He was actively involved in several faith-based groups, including the Men's Bible Study at JR'sBarbershop, King David Men's Bible Study, and The Brother's Keepers Ministry. Through thesefellowships, Terrance built strong bonds of brotherhood and continually sought spiritual growth.He was a man of integrity, laughter, and strength-someone who could bring comfort, wisdom,and joy into any room.Terrance will be remembered for his warm smile, his giving heart, his strong faith, his tellingjokes, and the love he so freely shared. His legacy of kindness, service, and devotion to family andcommunity will live on in all who knew and loved him.He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving wife, Melinda Mattison; his children,Shakesha "Coco" Hull, Brenasia Hester (goddaughter), and Marshall (Mary) Bolden; his parents,Booker Terry (Clarine) Nance and Verlena Mattison Ditty; his brothers, Maury (Patrice)Mattison, Cameron (Tameka) Mattison, Carson Nance, Curtis Nance, and Delmano Hood; hissisters, Tara (Paul) Mosley, LaKeisha Moore, Tywanda (Rod) Galloway, and Yolanda Jones; hisfive grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews,extended family members, and dear friends.Terrance was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Robert Sr. and Ruth Lee Mattison,and Booker T. Nance, Mattie Bell, and Berry Nance; his uncles, Robert Jr. (Zenobia) Mattison,James (Nelda) Mattison, Curtis (Darrina) Mattison, and Timothy (Patsy) Mattison; and his aunts,Dorothy (Rufus) Hood, Johnnie (Julius) Clinkscales, Arnetha (Waymon) Hood, and Rosezella(Warren) Gilliard.Funeral services will be held Saturday 12:00 P.M. at King David Baptist Church, burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be Friday from 12:00-6:00 P.M. at Foggie-Holloway Funeral Home.
