Teri L. Angell-Thacker

Teri L. Angell-Thacker, age 68, of Puyallup, Washington, passed away on March 5, 2026, at Rainier Rehabilitation in Puyallup with her husband William R. Thacker by her side. Born on March 11, 1957, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Clem and Mary Jo Mundel. Teri graduated with honors from Saint Martin’s University in 2000, having previously earned a degree from the University of Maryland.

A devoted Christian, Teri loved country music, Christian music, and traveling. In the 1970s she played clarinet in the marching band at John F. Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids. She and William met in Bamberg, Germany, 29 years ago. While there, she volunteered for the Red Cross and served as a claim officer at the Army Staff Judge Advocate office.

Teri is survived by her husband William R. Thacker, stepsons William Jr. and Brian Thacker, daughter-in-law Ty Thacker, five grandchildren, and her sister Lisa Blake. She was a sweet, loving wife and a constant inspiration to her family. Her gentle spirit and dedication touched everyone who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
