TERESE N MOORE

Terese Narcissa Moore passed away on February 28, 2026, at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank at the age of 71. A native of New Orleans and lifelong resident of Marrero, Louisiana, she attended L. W. Higgins High School. Terese worked as a certified nursing assistant at Our Lady of Wisdom Nursing Home and as a painter at Avondale Shipyard.

She was a devoted mother to Ellisee Mosey, Joseph “Lil Joe” Marshall, Jr., and the late LeeRoy Woodard, Jr. Terese was the beloved daughter of the late Roosevelt Moore and Gloria Breaux, and the granddaughter of the late Arthur and Francis Willis and Clarence and Narcissa Moore. She is remembered as the loving sister of Tyrone R. Moore, Dion C. (Shawn) Moore, Gloria Richardson, Angela (Larry) Mora, Madonna (Alfredo) Rivera, Sabrina (Jonas) Johnson, and the late Carmen Turner and LeeRoy Woodard, Jr.

Terese is survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends who will cherish her memory.
