Teresa Ramirez-Piña

Teresa Ramirez-Piña passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026 at the age of 85. Born on December 1, 1940 to Gregorio Piña and Maria Trejo in San Miguel De Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico, she later made her home in Watsonville, California for many years alongside her husband, Domiciano Ramirez Arredondo.

She was a cherished mother whose warmth and love touched everyone around her. Teresa found joy in the simple pleasures of life, gathering with family, preparing home-cooked meals, and working through crossword puzzles. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she loved attending church, spending time outdoors, and sharing music with her devoted husband. Above all, her greatest happiness came from the moments she spent with her beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

She was preceded in death by her son Gregorio, granddaughter Teresa Zepeda, grandson Rudy Ramirez, and her siblings Candido and Virginia Piña.

She is survived by her loving husband Domiciano Ramirez Arredondo; her children David, Angel, Eva, Adolfo, Oralia, Lucila, Rosalia, Miguel and Martha; along with her 39 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
