For many years, she and her family operated a taco stand during the Florence Labor Day Celebration. A skilled seamstress, Teresa sewed clothing and dresses for her loved ones and created numerous wedding, bridesmaid, and flower girl gowns.
She is survived by her daughters, Juanita (Timothy) Wilson of Augusta, Kansas, Maria (Marc) Anderson of Independence, Kentucky, Patricia Medina of Independence, Kentucky, and Isabel (Mark Wickman) Purcell of Helena, Montana; her brothers Ramon and Antonio; her sister Catalina; twelve grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
