Teresa M. "Toots" Bradehoft

Teresa M. “Toots” Bradehoft, age 90, passed away on March 5, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She grew up in the West Seventh area of St. Paul with her brothers and sisters and graduated from Monroe High School.

She met her husband, John, through ballroom dancing, and the two became a joy to watch on the dance floor. Teresa spent many years working at Donaldson’s, later Carson’s and Herberger’s, where she was known for her keen ability to spot a good deal on almost anything in the store.

She cherished time with her family, whether at gatherings, special events, or simply at home. Teresa was a wonderful cook who prepared generous homemade meals for everyone. She also loved spending summers at Mille Lacs Lake, where she enjoyed swimming and water skiing with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John. Teresa is survived by her son, Roger (Nancy) Bradehoft of Vadnais Heights, Minnesota, and her daughter, Doreen (Don) Zafke of Grand Forks, North Dakota; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
