Teresa Lynne Browning

Teresa Lynne Browning, age 69, of Dickson, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at TriStar Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. Born on November 9, 1956, in Fort Worth, Texas, she lived a life marked by gentleness and quiet strength.

Teresa was known for her sweet disposition and genuine kindness that touched everyone she met. Guided by a deep and unwavering faith in God, she found simple joys in life, especially the thrill of discovering treasures at thrift stores and yard sales. Above all, her greatest pride and devotion was her family. She cherished her loved ones with a steadfast and nurturing love that remained the center of her world.

She is survived by her mother, Virginia Betts McIllwain of Waverly, Tennessee; her stepfather, James Billy McIllwain of Dickson, Tennessee; her sons, Jamison McCullen of Dickson and Jesse Browning of Clarksville, Tennessee; her sister, Tracy Lascano of Waverly; and her grandchildren, Thomas, Tristan, and Tyler. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Fate Mayo; her grandparents, Roy and Fannie Lou Mayo, Lera Betts, and Corrine Betts; and her step-grandmother, Etta Bell McIllwain.

Teresa’s light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
