She was born on March 1, 1965 in Terre Haute to Norman and Carolyn Johnson. Teresa married William McVey on May 4, 1996.Teresa's personal relationship with Jesus Christ was the most important aspect of her life. She openly shared with everyone she knew about the love Christ had shown her, and you truly could not know Teresa without hearing about Jesus. She had a deep, abiding love for her children and grandchildren and found her greatest joy in life was caring for the people around her. She would sell the shirt off her back if she knew it would help someone in their time of need. Teresa lived with an adventurous, fly-by-the-seat-of-her-pants spirit that made life with her memorable and full of stories. She worked as an LPN in a nursing home for 26 years, faithfully caring for others with uncommon compassion.
