Teresa "Terry" Dodson

Teresa “Terry” Dodson, 71, of Fort Madison, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the West Point Care Center. Born on January 6, 1955, in San Diego, California, to Norman and Joanne Piper McGee, Terry lived a life grounded in simple pleasures and quiet strength. She worked for APAC for several years before retiring and found great joy in the outdoors, whether camping under open skies or cooking for those she loved.

She is survived by her three sons, Phillip Dodson, Donald (Alicia Shaffer) Bickers Jr. of Middletown, and Jesse Moyers of Burlington, as well as her grandchildren, Donald Bickers III, Kyle Bickers, Charles Kaltefleiter, Otis Bickers, Dylan Krebill, Aiden Moyers, Gavin Moyers, and Harlie Moyers. Terry was preceded in death by her parents, her longtime companion Donald Bickers Sr., her son Dennis, and her siblings.

Her family will remember her gentle spirit and the comfort she brought through her presence and her cooking. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
