Teresa Ann Knaack

Terri Ann Knaack, 63, of Crystal Lake, Illinois, passed away on March 7, 2026, in Palatine, Illinois.

Born on October 1, 1962, in Elgin, Illinois, to Kurt and Shirley (Noles) Knaack, Terri earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Illinois State University. She devoted her career to early childhood education, nurturing and guiding young children with patience and care.

Terri found joy in romantic comedy movies, arts and crafts, playing bingo, shopping, and most of all, sharing time with her family and friends. Her warm presence and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Alan J. “AJ” Knaack; her mother, Shirley Knaack; her siblings, Joe (Peggy) Knaack, Patti (Tony) Pape, and Sam (Susan) Knaack; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Terri was preceded in death by her father, Kurt H. Knaack; her grandparents, Louis and Fern Knaack and Roscoe and Bettie Noles; and other beloved family members.
