Tatshiana Sales Mahaffey, 62, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Saturday, March 7, 2026. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, who touched the lives of many.
Tatshiana was born in Riverside, California, on July 5, 1963, to the late Clyde Edward Sales, Jr. and Eulalia Bowers Sales. She found immense joy in her life, particularly in her role as a grandmother to her cherished grandchildren, Chase and Charity. Her proudest accomplishments were centered around her family, and she often expressed her deep love and devotion to them.
Throughout her younger years, Tatshiana embraced life with spirited energy. She enjoyed dancing and cherished moments spent at the beach, where the sun and surf brought her happiness and serenity. Her faith played a central role in her life; she loved Jesus and lived out her beliefs with grace and compassion. Tatshiana's legacy of love, faith, and family will continue to resonate within the hearts of those who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Eddie Mahaffey; her son, Jeffrey Swift; her daughter, Amber Akers (David); sisters, Tyna Goins and Dana Baker (Chris); as well as many cousins and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 4:00PM on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the Boonville Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel from 2:00PM- 3:00PM prior to the service.
