Tanya Sue Haynes

Tanya Haynes, age 52, of Monahans, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on March 11, 2026.

Tanya was born in Odessa, Texas, to William and Sue Haynes. She was the proud mother of one daughter, Morgan Haynes. Tanya was known for her kindness, strength, and fun, easygoing personality. She touched the lives of many through her love for family and friends.

After graduating from high school, Tanya attended Odessa College, where she completed the nursing program and earned her LVN license. She dedicated over 13 years of service working as a nurse in Monahans, Texas, where she cared deeply for her patients and the community.

Tanya enjoyed planting flowers and gardening, fishing, crocheting, painting, and crafting. She had a special love for animals and truly enjoyed caring for her dogs and rescuing animals in need.

She will always be remembered as a loving, funny, hardworking, and adventurous person who brought joy to those around her.

Tanya is survived by her father, William Haynes; her daughter, Morgan Haynes; her sister, Cheryl Stidham; and her brothers, David Haynes and Kerry Haynes, along with many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sue Haynes; her grandmothers, Velma king and Margie Haynes; and her grandfathers , Helm king and Joseph Wynn Haynes.

A visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Thursday March 19, 2026 at Harkey Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be held on March 20, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Harkey Funeral Home Chapel.

Though she is gone from our sight, her love and the memories she gave us will remain in our hearts forever."
