Tammy Lynne Ray

Tammy Guidry Ray passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the age of 62. She was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, and a blessing to all who knew her.

Tammy loved boating, vacationing at the beach, and spending time outdoors with family and friends. She will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and loving spirit.

She is survived by her mother, Sherry Guidry; sister, Lisa Guidry; brother-in-law, EJ Major; nieces, Brandi Webre (Shawn), Casie Babin (John), and Megan Sullivan; nephews, Brandon Major (Erica) and godchild Cody Major (Hannah); as well as great-nieces, Baylee Mativi (Evan), Presley Nijoka, godchild Caleigh Sullivan, Ivy Rookard, and Mia and Lennon Major; great-nephews, Calem Guidry, Dayton and Brixton Babin, Ty Webre, and Myles and Briar Major; and great-great-niece, Weslie Mativi.

Tammy was preceded in death by her husband, Otis “Buck” Ray; father, Benton Guidry; brother, David Guidry; sister, Sandra Major; and nephew, Michael Bourgeois.
