Tammy Lynn Garabrandt

Tammy (Saffell) Garabrandt, 46, of Dover, passed away on Tuesday, March 3rd at Union Hospital. Born in Dennison on December 19, 1979, she was the daughter of Ernest Corbin and the late Elaine (Risley) Yeager. In addition to her mother she is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents. Tammy dedicated much of her life to caring for others as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA). In her work, she was known for her gentle nature, strong work ethic, and the way she treated every patient with dignity and respect. Even after illness forced her to step away from the career she loved, her caring and compassionate spirit never faded. Tammy was an outgoing and friendly soul who could make anyone feel welcome. She had a way of connecting with people and leaving them with a smile. Her love for others was evident in the friendships she built and the lives she touched throughout the years. Above all else, Tammy's greatest joy in life was her family. Her most cherished moments were the ones spent with her beloved grandson, Mikleo. Being a grandmother brought her immeasurable happiness, and the time she shared with him meant more to her than anything else in the world. In addition to her father, she is survived by daughter Sherry (Colin Gartner) Dyer; Ronald Dyer III; 2 sisters Billeejo Parrish, Connie Yaeger; brother David Saffell; grandson Mikleo Wilcoxen; many nieces and nephews Elaine, Enrique Jr., Entrinity, Emelien, Ernesto, Ezra, Serenity, Raimey, Hercules; 2 great-nephews Antonio, Adrian; 3 uncles Mike, Kenneth, Keith; as well as other loving family members and friends.
