Tammy Louise Nigh, 51, of Tillsonburg, Ontario, passed away on March 8, 2026. Daughter of Wayne and Jackie Nigh, she was the beloved spouse of Joe Williams and a devoted mother to her three children, Kristopher, Kyla, and Kaedyn. She was a cherished Gramma to Paisley, Deegan, Spencer, Sebastian, and Sylis, whom she loved deeply, and a special aunt to Alyssa and Alivia. Tammy is survived by her brother Kevin Nigh (Misty), as well as many great-aunts, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandparents Don and Barbara Nigh, and Jack and Mary Lou Mudge.
Tammy was known for her strong work ethic and her willingness to hold down multiple jobs to support her family. She found great joy in her primary role at Maple Manor Nursing Home, where she formed close bonds with her residents, and she also worked at the A & W. Those who knew her will remember her as a loving mother and grandmother who cherished her family above all else. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, coworkers, and the residents she cared for.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to her friend Mary for her support, to Alicia Ficht for being present at her passing, and to all the family and friends who visited her in the hospital. They are also grateful to the dedicated staff at Tillsonburg Hospital, Woodstock Hospital, and LHSC University Hospital for their efforts to care for Tammy.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 153, 16 Durham St., Tillsonburg, Ontario.
