Tammy Cranford-Bauer

Tammy Cranford-Bauer, age 61, of Glennville, passed away on March 11, 2026, at her home, surrounded by peace and love with her daughter after an extended illness. Born on November 20, 1964, to the late Wallace and Sharon “Sissy” Cranford, she was a lifelong resident of Cochran until moving to Glennville in 2025. In Cochran, Tammy became the first woman to serve on the police force before working as a transcriptionist for twenty-five years at Taylor Regional Hospital. She had a deep love for animals and cherished her role as “Nonna” to her two grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Bowen, and son-in-law Jesse Bowen, as well as her two grandchildren, Emma Grace Bowen and Avery Rose Bowen, all of Glennville.
