She was a daughter of the late Luther "Luke" and Eleneta Benton Grooms. Sylvia worshipped God from home with her family. She enjoyed watching Family Feud, wearing her hats, crocheting homemade ornaments, decorating her seasonal tree, and collecting porcelain dolls. Sylvia also enjoyed trying new foods with her family. She loved her sweets and spaghetti. Sylvia also loved to eat grits every morning. More than anything, Sylvia loved spending time with her family.In addition to her parents, Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jimmy" Love, Jr.Sylvia is survived by her son, Timothy Love wife Christy Love, who she thought of as her own; grandchildren, Darrian Love, Deon Love, Kyona Love, and Krisetia Love.A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 3:00 P.M. at McColl Church of God.
