Sylvia Gabriele Badschild

Sylvia Gabriele Badschild, age 79, passed peacefully at home on March 15, 2026. Born in Munich, Germany, she moved to Burnsville in 1978.

She was a devoted wife and business partner to her husband, a loving mother to their children, and an indulgent grandmother. Full of energy, Sylvia accomplished more in a day than most could in a week. A successful chef in the family restaurant, an attentive housekeeper in their motel, and a meticulous homemaker, she possessed an astounding work ethic. Her husband often said he built his empire on her shoulders. She will be remembered for her delicious dishes and her sweet dance moves.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Badschild, her mother Gabriele Bürgle, and her son Alex Badschild.

Sylvia is survived by her stepdaughters Daniela Busetti (Dieter) and Beatrix Badschild (Franz), her daughter Vanessa Schilling (Cooper), and her grandchildren Christian Busetti (Kristina), Jessica Busetti, Jasmin Busetti, Sebastian Fuchs, Sarah Fuchs, Jace Schilling, Xander Schilling, and Kayden Badschild.
