Funeral Mass for Sylvia G. Lemoine of Plaucheville will begin at 12:00pm on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Plaucheville with Fr. Martin Laird officiating. Entombment will follow at the Mater Dolorosa Mausoleum in Plaucheville.

Sylvia G. Lemoine, age 94, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 16, 2026, at her home in Plaucheville.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 39 years, Eddie Lemoine; children: Pamela Savoy (Charles), Tammy Lemoine, Joseph Lemoine (Patrice); stepdaughters, Tina Roshto (Tim), Kim Smith (Kenny-deceased); son-in-law, Steven Ducote (Haroline); 12 grandchildren: Stacie Marsh (Kenneth, Jr.), Amanda Dixon (P.J.), Kristen Robin (Ross), Travis Arnold (Heather), Justin Arnold (Taylor) Nicole Saucier, Jacob Saucier, Haley Doyle (Patrick), Joseph Lemoine, Jr., Rex Lemoine, Anne Marie Lemoine, Ella Lemoine; 5 step-grandchildren: Samantha Roshto, Kaitlyn Smith (James), Kenny Smith, Jr. (Brook), Kris Smith (Kennedy), Kody Smith; and many great-grandchildren, & great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Xavier & Mathilda Lossoir Gauthier; first husband of 31 years, Raymond James Lemoine; daughter, Patti Lemoine Ducote; step-son, Bruce Lemoine; grandchildren, Kyle Saucier and Dawn Ducote; and brother, Joseph “Buster” Gauthier.

Visitation will begin at 9:30am until the rosary prayer service at 11:30am on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Plaucheville.
