Mrs. Sylvia Webb, age 85, of Meridian passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center.
She spent many years working at Dillard's and Belk in fashion and cosmetic departments, where her keen eye for style and fashionable flair was a passion that truly defined her spirit. A true entrepreneur at heart, she owned her own boutique business for several years, showcasing her creativity and business talents. Her adventurous spirit led her to Nashville, TN, where she forged unforgettable encounters with country music legends Dolly Parton, Brooks and Dunn, Marty Stuart, and George Jones, that she cherished deeply, but created a close personal relationship with Loretta Lynn and considered her a true friend. Some of the things she enjoyed the most was Sunday afternoon visiting family, drinking coffee and debating politics. She loved shopping, especially with her girls for clothes, make-up, and anything else she thought you needed. Sylvia was a devoted mother to her children, but also a loving friend to all who knew her.
Survivors include her children, Byron McGraw (Kathy), Kelly McGraw, and Scott McGraw (Renae); grandchildren, Jason McGraw (Chasity), Ben McGraw, Kristina Jenkins, Alex Jenkins, Josh McGraw, Lindsey Simpson (Jody), and Hunter Graham; great-grandchildren, Lake, Lowry, Mary Lawrence McGraw, Trey, Chase, and Christian Buckley, Farrah Vanosdol, Hunter McGraw, Kenley Simpson, and Hendrix Graham; special friend, Pat Porch; several cousins, extended family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by parents, Milton "Doc" and Margaret Dearman.
