She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Guy; and her grandson Matthew Robert Mylod. She is survived by: her children, Charles Lamon Guy and Shonda Mylod (Richard); her grandchildren, Padric Mylod, Zachary Guy and Daniel Guy; and her great grandchildren, Regan Mylod and Charlee Guy.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Green Hills Funeral Home (1621 US-29, Troy, AL 36079). A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
