Suzanne Hatt

Suzanne Mahealani Hatt, age 47, passed away from lung cancer at her home surrounded by her children and husband on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. She was born August 7, 1978, in Torrance, California, to Sharon and Mike Stelter.

Suzanne graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in Conservation Biology. In 1999, she married the love of her life, Jason Hatt, and they shared 26 wonderful years together.

Suzanne worked at Lincoln Elementary School for 12 years, where she touched the lives of many students and colleagues with her kindness and dedication. She was known for her warm heart and the love she poured into her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Jason, and their children, Makayla, Malia, Jared, and Derek. She is also survived by her parents, Sharon and Mike Stelter.

A celebration of life will be held at 747 NE Savage Street, Grants Pass, Oregon, on Saturday, March 14, from 2:00–3:30 pm. Suzanne will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
