Susanna Marie Cardenas

Susanna Marie Cardenas, born on August 27, 1963, passed away on March 6, 2026. A loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother, cherished sister, and caring aunt, Susanna was known for her selfless spirit and the warmth, compassion, and kindness she extended to everyone she met. She had a gift for making strangers feel like friends and filled her days with the people and activities she cherished most.

She found joy in spending time with her family, sewing, tending to her plants, caring for her cats, watching the Dallas Cowboys, sipping 7Up, and exploring garage sales and thrift stores. During her working years, Susanna served as a certified nursing assistant at St. Mary’s Hospital and La Casa de Buena Salud, caring for patients with dedication and heart.

She is survived by her husband Pedro Cardenas, her children Regina Rodriguez (Oscar) and Alex Guebara III (Noely), her grandchildren Emilio (Kayli), Dominic, and Brailynn, her sisters Mary S. Hernandez and Diana Cadenas, her brother David Cadenas (Susan), and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother Victoria Astorga, stepfather Benito Astorga, sister Gilda De la Cruz, brother Raymond Avalos, and nephew Damian Hernandez.

Susanna will be deeply missed, yet her legacy of love continues in the hearts of all who knew her.
