She was raised in Horace, ND for a few years, then the family moved to West Fargo, ND in 1968.She had jobs in assembly work after high school.On September 12, 2008, she married Gene Zachgo at Island Park in Fargo, ND. They lived in Fargo.Susan was a very special person, she was so kind, patient, caring, and loving.She loved dogs, a very special dog, Rudy. After Rudy passed, she would go out for walks. She loved walking and when she would see people walking their dogs, she would ask if she could give the dogs treats. She also loved nature.Susan went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 28, 2026.She is survived by her husband, Gene, Fargo, ND; sisters, Sandra (Ronald) Selzer, Wyndmere, ND, Judith (Jerry) Staab, Moorhead, MN, Debra (Allen) Berg, Fargo, ND, Dawn Roline, Bemidji, MN, Kathy Bailey, Horace, ND, and Linda Davidson, Moorhead, MN; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.She was a very special wife, sister, and aunt.Memorial Service: Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., in Brookdale Baptist Church, Moorhead, MN, with visitation one hour prior to the service.Interment: Brink Cemetery, Horace, ND.West Funeral Home & Life Tribute Centerwestfuneralhome.comTo send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Susan (Clemenson) Zachgo, please visit our floral store.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
