Susan Rae Martino, 84, of Grove City, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on March 14, 2026. She was born in Chester, Pennsylvania on March 5, 1942, to the late Ray and Mary (Colledge) Tuttle.
Sue leaves behind many who will forever cherish her memory, including her daughters: Sherry Robinson, Julie Martino, Susie Atkinson, June Bush,and Lisa Sayger. She was also blessed with 86 combined grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her brother, Ray Tuttle, along with many other loving family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara (Tuttle) Davis, and her son, Joseph Martino.
Sue worked as a nurse’s assistant for 15 years, where she dedicated herself to caring for others. Sue, a cherished resident of her senior center, brought warmth and joy to everyone around her. She loved to cook and took great pride in organizing plans and activities for her friends, always finding ways to make each day special. Outside of work and volunteering, she truly cherished time spent with her family. She loved gathering together, laughing, playing cards and games, and especially spending time with all of her grandchildren. Sue also loved music and was known to be a great dancer, always enjoying the chance to get up and dance whenever a good song was playing. Those moments surrounded by family, laughter, and music brought her the greatest joy.
Immediate family will greet friends and loved ones from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions – Southwest Chapel. A service to honor Sue’s life will follow at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will take place at a later date.
