Susan M. Paquette

Susan M. Paquette, 74, of Brickyard Road in Woodstock, passed away after a long illness on March 12, 2026. She was the loving wife of Ernest A.J. Paquette. Born in Castine, Maine, on March 21, 1951, Susan was the daughter of the late Fred and Frances (Limeburner) Grindal.

Susan worked as a nanny for many years. She had a deep passion for genealogy research and served as past president of the French-Canadian Genealogical Society of Connecticut. She also enjoyed knitting and cherished quiet moments spent with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Ernest; her son, Erik Paquette and his wife Hannah of Putnam, Connecticut; her daughter, Carrie Latour and her husband Stephen of Nashua, New Hampshire; and two brothers, Clyde Grindal of Connecticut and Philip Grindal and his wife Judy of Tolland, Connecticut. She was predeceased by her sister, Kathy Lescell.
