(VanDyke) DeMatteo, 71, of Penn Twp., died on Saturday, March 7, 2026 unexpectedly in Naples, FL. She was born on October 8, 1954 in Greensburg, to the late William and Joan (Weightman) VanDyke. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Patricia (Donald) Jackson. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. Susan was known for her daily walking, spending time with her grandchildren and winters in Florida. Susan is survived by her beloved spouse of 50 years David and son, Daniel W. DeMatteo; grandchildren, Kylie-Sue DeMatteo and Shaun DeMatteo; brother, Edward VanDyke as well as a special nephew, Donald Jackson and a special niece, Beth Topper. Also in laws Daniel A. (Diane) DeMatteo, Irene (Robert) Ridilla, Ray (Renee) DeMatteo, Joe (Beverly) DeMatteo, Jeff (Katie) DeMatteo, Greg (Thomas) DeMatteo, Jeanne (late Jeffery) Omlor, and Chris (Loretta) Criner as well as grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday, March 20, 2026, 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, PO Box 465, Harrison City. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 21, 2026, 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
