Susan King

Susan Charnell Frances King, age 78, of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky. Born on March 4, 1948, in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Charles O. and Thelma (Sacra) Nichols.

Susan was a longtime member of the Lawrenceburg Church of Christ and worked as an accountant for the Kentucky State Government for many years. She found great joy in scrapbooking, leaving behind numerous albums filled with cherished family memories, and in researching her family’s genealogy.

She is survived by her husband, Robert “Wayne” King; her son, Michael Wayne (Tammy) King, both of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky; her brother, B. Tom Nichols of Harrodsburg, Kentucky; and two grandchildren, John Charles “J.C.” King and Creed King.
