She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Foster and Forrest Foster; and her son Troy Mikel Epperson. She is survived by: her husband Reverend Alvin Epperson; her sister Caroline Allen (David) of Huntingburg; her granddaughter Sister Barbara Beery (Bobby) of Austin; her son Trent Epperson (Johnna); her grandchildren, Dr. Ryan Epperson, Emily Epperson, Notre Dame and Pearland; her daughter Tara Stromberg (Austin); and her grandsons, Troy and Noah. She is also survived by her 3 children, stepchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home (604 State Hwy 95, Elgin, TX 78621). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the New Hope Lutheran Church (1970 US-290, McDade, TX 78650).
