Susan Kathleen Straiton

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan Kathleen Straiton of Belle Plaine, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 7, 2026 at the age of 72. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Straiton and Monica Straiton. She is survived by: her daughter Lea; her grandchildren, Phillip Winter (Liv), Bobby Winter and Nola Yochim; and her siblings, Tom Straiton, Mary Straiton, Patti Straiton (Kathy Bemmels) and Colleen Kellen (Joe). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, several cousins, and many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, March 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Bruzek Funeral Home (610 Main St E, New Prague, MN 56071). A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the MS Foundation or Belle Plaine Lutheran Home.
