Susan Elaine Ford

Susan Elaine Staggs Ford, age 67, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Williamsport Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation will also be held on Tuesday from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on February 1, 1959, in Maury County, Susan was the daughter of the late David Staggs and the late Margaret Kelley Staggs Raymond. She enjoyed shopping, going to yard sales, and tending to her flower garden. Susan was an animal lover who had a very special place in her heart for her beloved dog, Biscuit. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family.

She is survived by her brother, Tom Staggs, and sisters, Margaret Ann Nichols and Janet Scarberry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Larry Staggs, James Staggs, sisters, Betty Smith, Sandra Higginson, and brothers in law, Wayne Nichols and Kenny Scarberry.
